Lynda Ellis Named a 2026 Maryland Most Admired CEO

COLUMBIA, Md., September 16, 2026 — Capitol Concierge is pleased to announce that CEO Lynda Ellis has been named a 2026 Most Admired CEO honoree by The Daily Record. The award honors business leaders and nonprofit executive directors throughout Maryland who are admired by their employees and the greater community. According to The Daily Record, a panel of judges selects these honorees based on professional accomplishments, community service, and letters of reference from co-workers, board members, and community leaders that highlight the CEO’s leadership and vision.

This award is especially significant for Ellis as it marks the third time she has been recognized as a Most Admired CEO. As a three-time honoree, she will be inducted into The Daily Record’s Circle of Leadership, which honors sustained achievement over at least six years.

“This year’s Most Admired CEOs are distinguished leaders in Maryland and beyond,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media/The Daily Record. “Their leadership drives innovation, strengthens our economy, and elevates the quality of our lives each and every day. The Daily Record is pleased to honor these outstanding businesses and leaders.”

Ellis began her journey at Capitol Concierge in 1998 and became CEO in 2007. Motivated by a passion for service, she brought an industry-leading business approach and unique take on the concierge industry that has grown Capitol to serve over one million people worldwide.

“I am honored and humbled to be named among this year’s esteemed Most Admired CEOs,” said Ellis. “This award really belongs to the Capitol team who show up and make a difference each and every day. I’m just fortunate and deeply honored  to lead them.”

This year’s honorees will be recognized during an award celebration on Monday, November 16. For event details and to register, click here.
