Announcing the 2020 R.I.S.E. Award Winners

Capitol Concierge is excited to announce the recipients of the 2020 R.I.S.E. Award. The annual award program honors Capitol Concierge employees for exceptional service excellence. Winners of the awards were celebrated at the R.I.S.E. Gala on Thursday, February 25. Held annually, this year’s gala was on a virtual platform due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the opening welcome of the gala, CEO and President Lynda Ellis said, “It is great to see you and to honor our heroes – you. While tonight we will be highlighting specific members of the Capitol Concierge team, I want to make it abundantly clear that each one of you is a hero in my eyes and in the eyes of our company. I feel such deep pride for what an extraordinary organization Capitol Concierge is, thanks to all of you. We are united by a common culture of high standards, discipline, flexibility, and co-operation that makes us unbeatable in the face of events like those presented to us in this challenging time.”

In the closing remark of the gala, Misty Tieman, VP Operations stated, “Congratulations to all of this year’s winners and a big thank you to everyone for your service excellence this past year. Before you go, I want to leave you with the words of Fred Rogers who said, ‘As human beings, our job in life is to help people realize how rare and valuable each one of us really is, that each of us has something that no one else has—or ever will have—something inside that is unique to all time.
