Capitol Concierge CEO Lynda Ellis to Serve As AOBA ACT Committee Chair
WASHINGTON, DC, January 28, 2010 – Capitol Concierge, Inc., the nation’s leading commercial concierge service provider, announced today that President, CEO and Owner Lynda Ellis has been appointed 2010 Chair of the Associates Coalition Team (ACT) Committee for the Apartment and Office Building Association (AOBA) effective today. AOBA is the leading membership organization representing commercial and multi-family residential real estate in the Washington, DC area. As ACT Chair, Ellis will be responsible for overseeing the educational and charitable programs of the Committee as well as the overall governance of the ACT. Ellis also sits on AOBA’s Board of Directors.
“We are delighted that our hard-working volunteer leader, Lynda Ellis, has agreed to serve as chair of ACT, and we know that she will do a terrific job,” said Jeanne Clarke, AOBA’s Director of Administration, who is staff liaison to the group.

Ellis contributes to many industry organizations through leadership roles in addition to AOBA. She is currently class vice president for Capital Speakers, and is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), Success in the City, eWomen Network and various Chambers of Commerce among others. She has been widely recognized for her contributions; receiving the AOBA “Outstanding Leadership Award” for the last several years. She was also honored with Washington Business Journal’s “Women Who Mean Business Award” and SmartCEO’s “Brava! Women Business Achievement Award” in 2009.
