We know talent when we see it
Our employees are what sets us apart. That’s why we make sure to bring in the most qualified candidates through comprehensive pre-employment screenings.
Our dynamic and continuous recruiting process begins with meetings between Account Managers and our Corporate Recruiter, where they discuss, identify and evaluate specific hiring needs for each client. From there, the interview process is extensive, and includes the following:
- Preliminary screening of applicants
- Three online tests, including:
- Office grammar and spelling: Can you draft a well-written, company-wide email?
- Microsoft Word 2010: Do you know how to effectively use industry standard tools?
- 30-minute timed writing sample: Can you send important notices in a short period of time?
- Interviews with Capitol Concierge Recruiters
- Second interview with corporate management such as Account Managers and the Vice President
- Drug and background testing
- Concierge Service Academy exams
We provide added support for our employees even after the interview process is complete—during their first 90 days, we meet with employees consistently to review and provide feedback on their performance. This review is the first of many to ensure employees uphold the highest level of service on a consistent basis.
Keeping the same friendly face that clients know and love in your building is important. Our retention rate is consistently high with an average fulltime employee turnover rate of less than 10 percent. Once hired, our employees tend to stay—some of our concierges have been with the company for 20 years and counting!
