Lynda Ellis Honored with AOBA’s David H. Hillman Maverick Award
Capitol Concierge CEO receives inaugural award for exemplifying dedication, leadership, and selflessness
ROCKVILLE, Md., January 21, 2021 – Capitol Concierge is pleased to announce that CEO Lynda Ellis was presented with the inaugural David H. Hillman Maverick Award by the Apartment and Office Building Association of Metropolitan Washington (AOBA), at its Annual Meeting on January 21.
Created in 2020 in memory of AOBA’s late member David H. Hillman, who was noted for his exceptional and innovative commitment to both his industry and community, the award honors an AOBA member who is making a significant positive impact on the property management industry and the local community by consistently demonstrating compassion, leadership, and service, and humbly displaying unwavering enthusiasm in identifying, researching, and solving a need. The award recognizes Ellis’ ability to meet challenges head-on, offer creative solutions, and inspire others to follow her example in pursuit of the greater good.
“It is fitting that Lynda Ellis has been selected to receive the inaugural ‘David H. Ellis joined Capitol Concierge in 1998 and later purchased the company in 2007. Known for her passion for service, she has received notoriety for her industry-leading business approach and unique take on the concierge industry. Under her leadership, Capitol has grown to serve well over one million people in some of the world’s most prestigious properties and companies.
